What's happening in Mr. Etter's Class?
Math: Decimals, writing various forms, rounding, adding, subtracting.
Spelling: Wards are Sort 9 in Words Their Way.
Language Arts: We will start out with Handwriting and grammar. I am surprised at the amount of kids that have not learned cursive in previous years in school. We will work on that and try to get the kids up to speed.
Social Studies: We will be finishing up our "webquest" in the Colonization unit and then moving into the Revolutionary War Unit.
Science: The current unit in Science is " Stars and Planets ".
Health: The units throughout the year will consist of "Guidance" units. The Guidance Dept. will come into the classroom and deliver lessons on various topics.
